Services
Central office management: maintain member records, accounts payable and receivable, budget and financial projections, work with accountants and auditors, grant writing, administer grant funds, edit and contribute to newsletters and other communication vehicles. In addition, we provide day to day services such as manage emails, telephone communications, bill pay, update and maintain websites, receive and process mail, maintain records according to association best practices, and any other administrative support, including work with association members as requested. This also includes maintain and promote strong relationships with national and local affiliates. We offer local, state and regional meeting and conference management including tradeshows, golf outings, socials and tours.
Consulting services: assistance with advocacy and legislative initiatives, leadership development, team building and coaching; coalition building, reorganization and board training or strategic planning. Assist in incorporation of association management best practices for governance, legal, taxes, and anti-trust avoidance.
Organizational development: provide staff support for the board, committees and governance, and continuing education.
Meeting Planning: coordinate association meeting times and agendas, arrange for meeting room, make onsite arrangements (room setup, food, audio visual needs), assist in development and approval of meeting agendas/brochures, etc., prepare and distribute materials for meetings, including minutes and financial reports.
Marketing: membership recruitment and retention campaigns, writing and implementing strategic public relations and marketing plans, and membership services/marketing brochures.
Federal and state advocacy: define issues and strategies, knowledge of political systems, identify and cultivate key contacts, coalition building, educate volunteers on the value of advocacy, advocacy training, organize grassroots network, cooperate with national affiliate organizations, and Congressional visits.
Legislative communication: develop positions on policy; draft legislation; act as liaison to legislators, state government agencies, departments, and boards such as: the Legislative Council, interim legislative committees, and licensing boards.
Public relations & spokesperson: public speaking, media relations, press releases, and issue management.
